We wondered if the Grand Prix would be changed to black to match the new compacts, and now we’ve got our answer! Why yes… the cars will be black like the new compacts.

Here’s the info Mary Kay is distributing about the not-so-free car program.

Starting with June 2007 qualifiers:

  • Grand Achiever qualifiers and requalifiers selecting the use of a Career Car will have the option of a Pontiac G6 or the Pontiac Vibe.
  • Premier Club qualifiers and requalifiers selecting the use of a Career Car will have the option of a Pontiac Grand Prix, Saturn Aura and Saturn Vue.

Starting with September 2007 Premier Club qualifiers and requalifiers, the Pontiac Grand Prix will no longer be an option.

Color Change:

  • Grand Achiever Career Cars will transition to a smoky platinum (charcoal gray) exterior color starting with June 2007 Grand Achiever qualifiers and requalifiers.
  • Premier Club Career Cars will transition to a black exterior color starting with June 2007 Premier Club qualifiers and requalifiers. (This excludes the Grand Prix which will remain platinum)

Grand Achiever Guideline Change:

  • Effective July 1, 2007, Grand Achievers electing the Career Car option are eligible to start Premier Club qualification six months following their Grand Achiever qualification month.

Please note changes are part of the ongoing Career Car program and are not a promotion/challenge. All other Career Car program on-target, qualification, maintenance and requalification guidelines and reward options remain the same.

A. You can only use the net adjusted unit wholesale production from the month in which eligibility starts forward but you can still qualify using a partial quarter.
