“I’m praying for you” is “well bless your heart” for pretentious, overly-pious faux-Christians, and anyone who’s lived in the South knows exactly what that really means. 😀

Funny. She seems to assume that people only work in Mary Kay or they don’t work at all. There’s lots of work opportunities out there that don’t involve Mary Kay. Jobs that don’t require recruiting, “topping off production” with your own money, lying, and front loading.

I just saw yet another video where the woman said she’s been in MK 30+ years and still has the goal of becoming NSD. Pffft. She must be near-broke and hopeless.

Begging on Instagram, pleading and sobbing on YouTube. Telling guests at the skin-care class, “Look, I brought my pajamas and will have to sleep here in the middle of the dining room table if no one books a follow-up with me tonight! I know you like me, so why won’t you book a follow up? I’m nice! Don’t you like me??”

In MK and the other MLMs/Direct-sales companies, you will lose money, time, and your dignity.

Well that’s a shining example of the amazing women in Mary Kay right there.

I’ve often wondered if they consider that as a brand ambassador they are failing miserably to encourage folks to think differently about their Mary Kay experiences. They are just proving most folks right and give truth to the statements about what happens when you leave Mary Kay and the way that you will be treated.

Bravo critic for being a shining example for your sisterhood.

I have just managed to finish filling in the hole that my Mary Kay “business” helped drive me into and if that isn’t a testament to my work ethic I don’t know what is.

My paychecks now actually fund Medicare, which none of my MK commissions ever did. I now have less of a chance of needing the government’s aid. And I can’t take you seriously with those run-on sentences and horrific grammar.

You also should have worded it that you have the “opportunity to make fantastic money”. If you’re in less than a Cadillac, you’re not clearing, post-taxes, any more than $3,000/month. That’s a max possibility of $36,000/year. Sorry, but I don’t think anyone would call that “fantastic” money.

Oh, and one more thing. I got down on my knees and asked God to show me what I should do about my business. The peace that came over me as I resigned and sent my product back was unbelievable.

Wow, what a shining example of the Mary Kay Way™️

I bet Mary Kay Ash herself is beaming with pride over this one’s enthusiasm. Sounds like she’s got that Mary Kay enthusiasm down in her heart.

Is there a prize for guessing who this is? I so badly want this to be Waverly Copeland, whose parents bought her a house and built a Mary Kay studio in it for her, instead of sending her to college. If this is her, I’m surprised the grammar and spelling are not much worse.

Wonder if Kimberly sold all the product she bought to finish NIQ to afford it. Sick spoiling of that generation. How on earth will she ever have a work ethic if it’s all bought for her?

Oh, wait…just like Kimberly’s area was bought for her by Pat Fortenberry!

    2. D. Phillips

I’m thinking this is Waverly Copeland too. No college for this girl.. Mommie dearest buys her a house, studio and she’ll get all of her Grannie’s Area when she retires this coming year.
Another area bought and paid for…Pat Fortenberry’s legacy lives on!

          1. D. Phillips

Kimberly had Waverly and Walker with her first husband, last name-Roop.
She divorced him married second husband, Copeland.

When she married Shaw Copeland, he adopted Waverly and Walker. I do not know how they were able to do this through the courts, considering that they have a father.

How embarrassing to work for a company that has this vulgar mess representing it. If I knew nothing about Mary Kay except this post I’d say it was full of spiteful, petty, uneducated and certainly un-Christlike individuals. Even when you disagree with someone, making your point with class goes a long way. Complete sentences are nice too.

Now that’s a calumnious assumption if I ever heard one!
Listen lady, you know what happens when you assume? It makes an ass out of you and me!
In the meantime, Pinktruth.com welcomes all and for many the proverbial nickel drops when they realize what it’s all about!
Please keep coming back, we’re patient and willing to provide the knowledge that the typical public school fails to teach from age 7 onward.
    Thanks for visiting!

There should be a link that says, “Welcome if you are here because you were told to never click on this site”.

BTW, shouldn’t we be getting on our knees and begging MARY KAY for forgiveness? Because I’d bet my last dime from my real, profitable job that my list of sins against God does not include this.

  10. Pinkiu

My guess. An entitled 19 year old who has the emotional development of a 4 year old. I just received an email similar to this from a special snowflake who thinks that being assigned books to read in college is not right and she won’t have it!

  11. BestDecision

Oh, good, because I don’t miss being in MK at all! My skin is happier, my makeup looks better, and I don’t have to carry business cards and dolled up samples everywhere on the prowl!

  12. Deflated Pink Bubble

    Good Lord.

Tracy, who is this entitled spoiled brat? I know you know…. PLEASE tell us!

“If you read these untuths about a wonderful company “Mary Kay” we do not want you in our company because you are just like these people that never made it and will never make it in this world! So don’t waste a person’s time coming into a company where we work and make fantastic money!”

Absolutely nothing that is here, written by those of us in Pink Truth is a lie. We can back up our bullshit. You however, probably cannot. Schedule C please? You claim you don’t want us in your company BUT 95% of most of us on here were recruited into your horrible company. Not only CAN we make it in this world, we HAVE and are doing well thank you. Once that is, we got away from Mary Kay. A company that left most of us in debt.

“Every person who ever wrote on this blog is a lazy good for nothing and is a taker from the government or wherever they can get something for not working for it! Bitch please. If there are 3 directors in your family and an NSD Emeritus and you’re doing well, it’s because you were given the royal treatment. You didn’t work for any of your recruits, they were given to you. You wouldn’t know real work if it smacked you in the head.

“Get down on your knees and ask GOD for forgiveness for ever starting a blog like this! I am ashamed that you ever signed an agreement to work in our company you all are a disgrace! I honestly believe YOU are the one who needs to ask for forgiveness. Please take a copy of what you wrote to your priest, pastor, rabbi… Ask him how Christ like your message was.

A little bit of advice. You might want, in your spare time, to take some college courses… Especially in English and Grammar because yours sucks. There will be a time when your Mary Kay world comes crashing down. When that happens, you’re going to need real life skills and an education to hold down any type of a job. You are living in a fantasyland.

Also, the women on this site… They are strong, educated and powerful women. We were all smart enough to realize the scam that is Mary Kay. We are all doing quite nicely for ourselves. It’s really nice to have real employment that doesn’t invade your off time.

You better get some Satin Hands sets ready for your last minute shoppers! Oh, and don’t forget to assault your family and friends with your MK bullshit over the holidays.

    Much love…
    Merry Christmas.

    TRACY, who is this bitch?

  13. Kinzie

    Unimportant people?

Wow. That is one of the most manipulative statements I’ve heard spewed from a MK mouth and I pray she feels bad about it (and i really did pray). So if you serve her purposes you are important but once you are no longer useful to her you become unimportant. Lady, who are you to judge someone’s worth? Wait, you can’t. You don’t possess that power. That is how I will remember your name.

  14. morningstar

Lack of compassion coupled with lack of critical thinking and writing skills have me SMH.

Engrained generational MK hierarchy may be scientific proof that narcissism is hereditary and also based on environmental factors during up bringing of children.

Lumping others as takers from the government is a dual insult to those in need and who do sign up for MK, hoping to get of poverty.

If she is “all that and more”, why pray tell is she here at all commenting and likely lurking on regular basis? Oh that’s right – it is part of the narcissism complex.

May she be served a big dish of humble pie is my holiday wish for 2018.

  15. Lily in NYC

LOL, I don’t believe it for a minute that she comes from a family of successful directors – my guess is she’s yet another Red Jacket who still believes she can make a go of this scam business.

  16. Amber

LOL Wow. What a bitch! So shame on us for criticizing a cult…I mean a “business” and expressing our opinions. This woman is ridiculous. “Remember my name because I will be fighting with every breath to tell people about this site”…Thanks for the free publicity lol. And now all of those people she betrays with the Mary Kay way will have a home waiting for them, too. I also love how she called everyone here lazy. Just because none of us want to buy hundreds of dollars worth of shitty makeup and try to sell it to people doesn’t mean we are lazy at all. In fact, I’d say we are actually SMART.

  17. Lazier than Durt

I found a good way to make money (the OP may want to pay attention when MK goes belly-up.)

Residential or commercial cleaning. If you are a good, honest hard working cleaner, you never run out of business. I have no website, pamphlets, business cards or any type of identifier. I am kept very busy. Basically find a thing you are good at and like to do, and other people would rather someone else did it for them. No stalking needed.

I can’t sell icecubes in the desert, so I couldn’t even try to go into sales (even legitimate sales).
