You Just Want Revenge

A note from an angry Mary Kay customer to Pink Truth members:

To whom it may concern…..

What has this world come to?? What are you thinking??? You all are bitter, bitter women that can’t find anything else better to do with your time. Get a life!!!

I am completely blown away that you would start a website like this!!! Do you think that we are all stupid, that we can’t think for ourselves??? I can not believe that you all started your Mary Kay businesses and put yourselves in a financial hole!!! That is too funny!!! Whats even better is that you blame your failure onto Mary Kay Inc.??? Did they put a gun to your heads???? Tell me something…. are you gutting Avon?? What other MLM companies did you fail at that you are gutting??

The hate and discontent in this website is way out of control!!! You ladies really need to get a life and allow us to find out if the Mary Kay world is for us. I get it, it wasn’t for you…. do I care??? No!!! Everyone has different situations and life stories…. it doesn’t mean that my story will turn out like yours!!! You know, if I was able to have a chance to stay at home with my children and still make the same wages that I would at a 9-5 job or 3-11 or 7-4 job, damn straight I would!!! My children mean the world to me and I would do what ever I had to, to make sure that they weren’t raised by someone else!!! To be able to give them a life that the NSD’s have would be amazing!!! Can you give your children and family that same life???

Every single one of you had the same chance to succeed!!! Instead you gave up!!! And that is sad….. stop blaming someone else and blame yourselves for being such loosers!!! Because that is what you are!!! Bitter, hateful, sad, sad women!!! I am so thankful that I don’t know who any of you are, because I would be ashamed to say that I did know you!!!

You think you are saving us all from a terrible, terrible fate!!! Well guess what….. all you have done is made yourselves look stupid!!! That is even funnier!!! Now the whole world knows about it!!! You all had a chance to make a difference in your lives…. what you did with it…. you threw away that chance and all you have done is made yourselves look like fools!!! Congrats!!!

With the economy and job market the way that it is right now…. I will try anything to be able to put food on the table and clothes on our backs!!!! BUT!!! I will do it in a manner that is suitable for me and my family and not financially damning!!! Dumping $4800 into a business that your not sure is going to work for you….. like I said…. fools!!!

All of you really need to grow up and shut up!!! Your opinions are just that…. YOURS!!! I don’t want to hear it, neither does the next woman. We all have two legs, you need to let us stand on them. Stop bashing Mary Kay!!! They did nothing to you, you did it to yourself!!! I really feel sorry for you and the others that you have sucked in!!! It’s pathetic that you would go this far!!!

Just to clarify…… I’m not even a consultant. I’ve used the product for 15 years, but never really looked into the company itself….. but because I have stumbled onto your website, I am more intrigued now to prove you all wrong. When I read things on your website, all I see is bitter, sad, probably lonely women that are full of hate. Trying to blame someone else for their failures. Well sweeties…. buck up!!! Life isn’t fair, and the only ones to blame is yourselves!!!

All I can see is that someone out there hurt you and you are just wanting to get revenge on them. I see that as very, very sad. Making it your lifes quest to crush a company because you failed??? Because 1 person promised you something and it didn’t happen like you wanted it to. If it were me, I’d be looking for something else to occupy my time, because in the end you are going to only destroy one person….. you. Good luck with your bashing party…. hopefully one day you will realize that you are only hurting yourself and your followers. That just tells me that you don’t have a conscience.

I will do one thing for you…… I will pray for you….. pray that you will see the damage that you are doing and causing terrible hate and discontent in everything and everyone around you. That is why there is so much hate in the world, it’s because of people like you that have a score to settle and don’t give others the chance to test the waters.

From what I understand, Mary Kay Inc. has been in business for 55+ years??? They must be doing something right. If I am able to get just a small piece of that pie to make a better life for my family….. it’s worth the try.

So I thank you…. I am looking forward to proving you and your haters wrong. It’s going to be a fun ride!!!

Methinks the lady (or man, no judgements) protests too much. Also claims to be laughing uproariously at the misfortune of others. Charming. Kindly do, madam (or sir), take time to pray. You clearly need the peace of your higher power.

“Can you give your children and family that same life??”

Yes I can, but my husband & I choose not to try to play keep up with the neighbors. We could blow the neighbors and the NSD’s out of the water if we wanted to. It’s just not the way we want to live.

Also I see employees wanted at the majority of places I go. The local walk mart has a sign for stickers that is starting above the hourly wage I get at my current job.

For the record I have done anything to keep food on the table, shoes on my feet, the rent paid and gas in my car and guess what it none of it was recruiting for a pyramid scheme, because I didn’t have the time or the money to focus on that kind of crap.

    Dear Critic,

It really is okay to use just one exclamation point or question mark. It doesn’t help your case to use three every time. You’ve rolled out the same criticisms of Pink Truth as everyone before you, and made a fool of yourself by just parroting everything you heard in Mary Kay.

p.s. I don’t believe for one second that you are not a consultant.

“Lazy loosers” needs to be a square for sure 😆

How about “you have nothing better to do than criticize Mary Kay” as another square?

          Poor spelling

          Excessive punctuation

          Terrible grammar

I HAVE SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT TO SAY TO THIS KAYBOT BUT THERE ARE NO EXCLAMATION POINTS LEFT SO I MUST RELY ON CAPS LOCK TO GET MY IDEA ACROSS
I’M NOT SURE IF IT’S WORKING LOL

“You know, if I was able to have a chance to stay at home with my children and still make the same wages that I would at a 9-5 job or 3-11 or 7-4 job, damn straight I would!!!”: uh, huh. So would many women. So why do MK consultants have such high turnover? There are too many women here telling the same story to not believe that they are telling the truth.

  5. ww1971

Doesn’t Mk had a monthly turnover rate of about 30,000 people? If it were so good why do people quit.
MK will NOT allow you to pay bills or put food on the table. Unless you have recruited dozens and dozens of people, there is no money in MK, and even with all these recruits, there still isn’t much. The whole game of MK is stacked against you, that is how this scheme works. It is simply an inventory frontloading scheme where the product itself is not even the point or the star of the show.
Whoever wrote this letter is COMPLETLETY brainwashed and has no idea on how to think for herslelf.

“You know, if I was able to have a chance to stay at home with my children and still make the same wages that I would at a 9-5 job or 3-11 or 7-4 job, damn straight I would!!!”

Spoken like someone who has not yet been told to hire a sitter to give herself time to “work her business” (e.g., get out there and warm chatter everyone she sees, pay to attend endless meetings, etc.) If Mary Kay offered the opportunity to stay home with your kids while earning a decent wage, we wouldn’t be here. It doesn’t; we’re here.

This writer is so convinced she knows more about Mary Kay than the former IBCs and Directors who contribute here…unbelievable. If she were in her car and and saw someone standing by the side of the road, frantically waving their arms and yelling “Stop, stop, the bridge is out!” she’d likely roll down her window and yell:

“Stop hating on the bridge!!! You’re just bitter because YOU failed to get across the ravine!!! I’ll pray for you!!! I look forward to proving how wrong you are about the bridge!!!”

Slow your horses, honey, that’s a steep cliff ahead.

Yeah she clearly didn’t read the content before she blew up.

We aren’t quitters. We are experienced, career path consultants, so the claim that we didn’t work, or didn’t make money is an assumption YOU are making. It is HOW we made our money that is concerning.

The “real” money is from recruiting, and depends on finding hundreds of women to front load with product and then bait ongoing future purchases with cheap trinkets, contests, recognition, status clothing, lease cars, and goal loyalty. In other words, manipulation.

The Creme de la creme in Mary Kay, The Nationals, have made their fortunes off the credit card debt of their downline, and EVERYONE above DIQ level, knows it.

This isn’t bitterness. It is a most gracious and dire warning.

It reminds me of those who defend their poor choices. Also those who turn a blind eye and defend (rapists, drunk drivers or paedophiles.) How many times are those who harm others given accolades? Sometimes even those who are a supposed pillars of society: Jim Bakker, Jerry Sandusky, Lance Armstrong, LuLaRoe pyramid scheme , Erin Brockovich (PG&E) and the groundwater contamination in the small town of Hinkley, California.etc. It’s not about revenge. It’s about helping others not repeat our mistakes. The mistake of trusting, believing, hoping and listening to Directors or NSD’s that promoted an mlm. When it comes to your concerns, not heeding our warnings based on experience is foolhardy. I understand your annoyance. However many women have the same stories. MK is a flawed mlm no matter how you try to defend it. Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”; For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

Boy, a lot of people sure seem to accidentally “stumble” across PT. 🤔 Lots of clumsy fingers in the MK universe…

Not a consultant? Coulda fooled me; this eyesore is rife with the ever-popular “!!!!!!!!”s and standard MKisms.

If she “doesn’t care” what PT members’ experiences were, why read any of it, let alone spend what was probably a good solid hour crafting this typical MK clichè of an email? I mean, it’s not like anyone PUT A GUN TO HER HEAD…

    🙄

All of these letters are the same. We’re evil. You’re good. I haven’t seen any proof yet of all the money and profit you’re making in MK. Why are you reading this site and going to such lengths to write to us? It must be hitting a nerve.

These so-called not-a-consultant critics have the same song and dance each and every time.

“Bitter, hateful, sad, sad women!!! I am so thankful that I don’t know who any of you are, because I would be ashamed to say that I did know you!!!”

Not bitter, hateful, or sad at all. Many people are thrilled that they know me, and I am thrilled that I know them. Honestly, I’m at a good place in my life right now, both personally and professionally.

“With the economy and job market the way that it is right now…. I will try anything to be able to put food on the table and clothes on our backs!!!! BUT!!! I will do it in a manner that is suitable for me and my family and not financially damning!!! Dumping $4800 into a business that your not sure is going to work for you….. like I said…. fools!!!”

The job market in my field (nursing) is HOPPING. My unit has six registered nurse positions open right now, and we cannot fill them. We also have SEVEN nursing care partner (aka: nurse aid, patient care tech, et al) positions open, and the starting pay is $15/hour. (You get paid more if you are willing to work the night shift.) Want to put food on the table and clothes on your back? Apply for an actual job.
Regarding dumping $4800 into a “business,” MK is not a business. I “dumped” well over twice that into a master’s degree, and guess what? I damn near doubled my income, and I am no fool. I know for a FACT that I make considerably more per month than my former senior, and I have a 403(b), a pension, PTO, and more. Did I also mention that I’m getting a 3% raise effective today? And I didn’t have to recruit a single person.

    1. BestDecision

Bravo! Nursing was criticized by my Senior, yet Directorship isn’t the most trusted profession in the U.S. In fact, had countless unreturned phone calls and emails through my years in MK. No shows and watching out the window for guests to show for a meeting. Interviews spent waiting for my unit member’s prospect to keep her promise to her and show up.

Thank you for calling out the nonsense MK is teaching customers and Consultants alike. Ridiculous!

  12. Eyes wide Open

If this commenter is not a BC, then Santa and the Easter Bunny are real.

She/He knows far too many MK terms to be a simple end user. No BC would use such terms with a customer. They would be scared out of their minds to get buy from a business that seems so disreputable.

This commenter should ask every Fellow consultant, Director, Executive Director how many hold traditional jobs. That tells the story.

“So I thank you…. I am looking forward to proving you and your haters wrong. It’s going to be a fun ride!!!”

“Just to clarify…… I’m not even a consultant. I’ve used the product for 15 years, but never really looked into the company itself….”

    Contradictory statements

    1. Kristen

      Jane-

Agreed. She didn’t do a very good job covering up the fact that she’s a consultant.

“ If I am able to get just a small piece of that pie to make a better life for my family….. it’s worth the try.”

Getting a piece of the pie sounds like she’s hoping to make money to me. I’d give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was speaking hypothetically, but why would any customer go to such lengths to defend Mary Kay?
