Nothing in Life is Easy

A friendly note from a Pink Truth critic:

To whom ever,
Its sad to see former Directors and consultant bring down am oppurtunity like a job. No one put a gun to your head to sign an agreement. We sign agreements to belong to discount whole sellers this isnt any different. Except we have the rights as independent consultants to sell the products or purchase for ourself.

These few unhappy former Directors/ condultsnts complain because it isnt easy nothing in life is easy you have to work hard. Yes there might be some NSD am Directors only thing of themself but there are far more that are truely dedicated snd are very loving.

As far as re orders and inventory you are NEVER forced to have one its just convient. Women like instant gradification. Besides if you are the few with the Directors that push you, we as consultant understant the wrod NO!! So use it. The NSD and Director push you if you ask for it.. Dont make the Legacy of this Beautiful company be bad mouth by a few that didnt give it a try to work.

I made money, I earned a ring for court of sales. I never purchased anything I didnt have already sold.

For those few it doesnt matter what you do in life you would find something to compain about it!!!

  1. To whom ever,
Its sad to see former Directors and consultant bring down am oppurtunity (sic) like a job. No one put a gun to your head to sign an agreement.

There’s the gun argument in the first paragraph.

We sign agreements to belong to discount whole sellers this isnt (sic) any different. Except we have the rights as independent consultants to sell the products or purchase for ourself.(sic)

Costco isn’t bothering me to go and buy anything. The company has my money and that’s all they care about. And I sometimes pick up items for a friend or family member who pays me back at the price I paid not for a 50% mark-up.

These few unhappy former Directors/ condultsnts (sic) complain because it isnt (sic) easy nothing in life is easy you have to work hard. Yes there might be some NSD am(sic) Directors only thing (sic) of themself (sic) but there are far more that are truely(sic) dedicated snd (sic)are very loving.

The dichotomy of MK and other MLMs, it’s easy but hard; part-time work for full-time pay; work from anywhere but work from everywhere. There appears to be many SDs and directors think of using their downline for their own gains.

As far as re orders and inventory you are NEVER forced to have one its just convient.(sic)

It’s so convenient that (general) you have to buy $225 worth of product to stay active.

    Women like instant gradification. (sic)

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t but getting a lipstick or eyeshadow generally falls into the non-instant gratification area of my needs.

Besides if you are the few with the Directors that push you, we as consultant understant(sic) the wrod(sic) NO!! So use it.

That isn’t going to stop those directors pushing you, again and again until (general)you either give in or (g)you are excluded from their inner and then outer circles until (g) you leave or buy back her forgiveness.

The NSD and Director push you if you ask for it.. Dont (sic)make the Legacy of this Beautiful company be bad mouth by a few that didnt(sic) give it a try to work.

But it’s not a beautiful company since it is riddled with bad directors who perpetuate the scam and prey on women who don’t know any different.

    <I.
I made money, I earned a ring for court of sales. I never purchased anything I didnt(sic) have already sold.

    I seriously doubt that.

For those few it doesnt (sic)matter what you do in life you would find something to compain(sic) about it!!!

I feel that as a citizen of my country, of the world and of the internet, complaining about injustice and fighting to right it where I can is my duty as a decent, caring human being.

    • Adding all of the “(sic)” Notations that you did really highlights the atrocious spelling & grammar that I might have glossed over as I read quickly.

      • The joys of C&P is that all the mistakes come over with it. I know I have posted something and not spell checked especially if I’ve been typing fast. It’s a tad trickier when the misspelled word is a correctly spelled word but is not the one intended, am for and.

  2. My wife signed a contract to purchase a house. She stopped making payments on the house, in order to honor a contract with MK! Hm something’s wrong here?

None of these consultants ever address how their upline makes their commission, nor do they realize how upline makes their commission bigger and better.

This is part of this con game’s tactics. They make it seem like it’s all about the new consultant instead of the person doing the recruiting for HER OWN commission. It’s brilliant, and so sneaky. Con game #101: Tell your mark it’s an opportunity for them.

“GMBEE IZ TOO BUZY SEND EMALE HERSELFF, HAZ PEOPULL DO IT 4 HER!!!!”—

Mountaineer was right, and it looks like GMBEEZEZ entire staff has decided to send us emails.

  4. Grammar Police, save us from the Friday critics. Sheesh, my seven-year-old can write better!

Letter writer, we would all love to see proof of how much you earned from your sales. Unless, of course, you’ve taken lessons from Monique Anthony on how to verify your income.

  5. It makes me sad and angry that MK continues to target victims who are learning English. Did this person even understand the contract she signed?

    • VERY good point. The email reads like one of those Nigerian 419 scam emails. If she’s not a native speaker of English, she should “compain” about the lousy education she received. On another note, if she earned a ring for the court of sales, how much are those rings worth anyway? I presume it’s just another one of those crappy “prizes” you could get at a dollar store.

  6. “Nothing is life is easy.”

This may be true, but some things in life are actually impossible. For example, less than one half of one percent of MLMers (Mary Kay included) are able to turn a profit. Put another way, it is mathematically impossible for any MLM downline to be profitable as a whole. The profits at the top depend on losses below. This is the nature of endless-chain recruiting schemes. How can anyone take pride in having a losing business under them, with no hope it will ever be profitable for all participants? Every single MLMer with a downline is in this awful position, without exception.

Lying about profits is just one of the many tools these fraudsters use to attempt to change the perception against the reality of the downline consultant loss rates that are built into the Mary Kay/MLM corporate business plan. Without significant down-line losses, MLMs like Mary Kay go out of business. It’s that simple.

So while it may be true that nothing in life is easy, at least in traditional businesses it remains possible (and common) for everyone involved to bring home net positive income. But so long as they embrace an endless-chain recruiting scheme, an overall profitable sales force will remain impossible in Mary Kay.

  7. Considering the epidemic of hun violence in America, can the Kaybots PLEASE stop saying “nobody held a gun to your head”. Ugh.

  8. This one is truly a sad case. Barely literate, thinks she made money when we all know she didn’t… how much of her family budget now sits in Mary Kay Inc’s coffers?

Hey, Mary Kay execs, how does it feel knowing you’re taking advantage of people like this? How do you sleep at night? I’d seriously like to know.

  9. I can’t help but mention that in our current climate, it’s time to do away with the “gun to your head” argument. It’s tacky and thoughtless. Also, would the gun be spray painted pink? Would it be something you had a copay on when you didn’t meet your ordering quota? Would NSD’s carry one in their garter?

  10. OP- get thyself to YouTube and watch the “Weird Al” Yankovic video Word Crimes. You will likely learn a few things and it’s free- actually free, not ‘Mary Kay write it off my taxes free’ (way cheaper than Seminar!)

  11. Jeeze! Can we have an original thought? Tracy, can you send back these repeaters and tell them these arguments are tired, worn and been used up years ago???? I’m sure they are just copying from previous posts……arggggg!
