Find Something Good to Do With Your Lives!

Former consultant Theresa obviously doesn’t understand the value of educating and warning other women about Mary Kay. It was her choice to buy Mary Kay products that are now sitting in her basement. But what she forgets is that it was her upline who told her to buy the products and the wonderful reasons why stocking up was a good thing. They lied to her and they lie to everyone else. It’s not a grudge, it’s a public information campaign.

I stumbled across this website.

I think what surprised me the most was that so many had such terrible experiences, so terrible that you would waste your precious time on earth with this website! Time is precious, people! Find something beautiful and creative to do with your lives! Don’t waste it here!

Does the fate of MK impact your lives? NO! Whether it goes on or it doesn’t, should have absolutely no bearing on your life!

You can’t stop someone if they are determined to do it, and, if it is a scam, it is not the first, nor will it be the last!

I have a basement full of it, but grudges have no place in my life! It wasn’t the MK that brought me financial ruin. It was my bad habits in general.

Whatever your bad experience was, it is over and done. You can’t unring that bell! Instead of focusing on a negative experience, find something good to do with your lives! Jesus needs you to build the kingdom! Focus on that!

Those bad habits included participation in Mary Kay. Theresa, you can’t even see that we are trying to help women avoid your fate. Once you’ve corrected your bad habits, our motives here at PT will become clear to you.

  2. Theresa this is awkward. Jesus told me He wants me to continue posting on Pink Truth! He doesn’t want women to be conned by this scam!

    • Extra awkward. Jesus told me that people who participate in MLM scams, like Mary Kay, should be punished…..that they’re in the easy-pass line for a ride down south. Theresa, I’d be really worried.

Isn’t it wonderfully convenient how we can all say what Jesus wants? 🤪

That’s right, scammers gonna scam. I guess from now on I’ll just let people give to the fake charities that pop up after every natural disaster. I’ll encourage lonely guys to send their life savings to hot foreign tomatoes who’d just lurve an American husband but first they need $$$ for English lessons, legal fees, clothes, luggage, a new life for the folks back home, and oops, sorry, can’t make it, maybe next month. Your grandson is under arrest in Mexico? Sure, go send them that $500 iTunes gift card, despite the fact that your grandson is 5 and lives across town! Your Microsoft computer has been compromised? Absolutely give some rando access to all your files and pay them the Bitcoin they want to fix it!!!

Oh, wait, no I won’t. Scams, and crime in general, will never go away; that’s true. However, that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to throw up our hands and go “oh well, sucks to be you!” Education is important for the sake of the people who will listen. Support, and assistance with recovery, are vital to the victims who are feeling hurt and betrayed and hundreds/thousands out of pocket because of the scammer. That’s what this site is all about, and it’s why Tracy makes sure to post letters from people who managed to avoid being drawn in as well as the ones from people who got out.

So, anyway, blaming the whole mess on your own bad habits… is that how you really feel, or how you were made to feel by your upline and other huns?

I seriously doubt this. You knew or suspected a site like this existed.

I think what surprised me the most was that so many had such terrible experiences, so terrible that you would waste your precious time on earth with this website!

Why? Shouldn’t warning people about predatory companies be a good thing? Or warning people about anything which could harm them or people they care about? Being mindful of other people is a caring thing.

NO. Grow up! You are not my mother. I have plenty of creative hobbies to fill in my time. The scant minutes I spend here is probably less time than I spend on the toilet. Being here on the other hand purges another kind of metaphysical waste.

Does the fate of MK impact your lives? NO! Whether it goes on or it doesn’t, should have absolutely no bearing on your life!

We are not your downline teamies here, you can’t bully us with impunity.

Stop? No but inform yes. Also being here to help pick up the pieces afterwards includes showing how to avoid a “scam” like Mary Kay Wagner Rogers Eckman Weaver Louis Miller Hallenbeck Ash’s company in the future.

I have a basement full of it, but grudges have no place in my life!

If you truly had no grudges, then Pink Truth wouldn’t bother you. You would have moved on with your life. The mere fact you felt compelled to pen your diatribe shows we have got under your skin and prodded a festering wound.

It wasn’t the MK that brought me financial ruin. It was my bad habits in general.

I guess the first bad habit was buying into Mary kay which was then amplified by your up-line pretty pink polished lies. Honey, you didn’t stand a chance . They have had decades to spin the perfect spiel to lure you in.
I can however show you this which proves financial ruin was on the line the second you signed your contract.

Whatever your bad experience was, it is over and done.

Please don’t consider a future career in counselling because your advice sucks.

You can’t unring (sic) that bell! Instead of focusing on a negative experience, find something good to do with your lives!

Warning (general) you about a potential problem is a good thing. Explaining how something which looks good on the surface is not in fact the panacea promised is how we are supposed to live in harmony with our neighbours.

Jesus needs you to build the kingdom! Focus on that!

I guess now that you have written your missive to us, you are heading out to comfort the widow or the orphan, minister to those in prison, aid the sick or the immigrant like Jesus commanded. Or are you going to “momtrepanuer” your latest basement filling grift?

  5. “Find something beautiful and creative to do with your lives! Don’t waste it here!”

I have never felt like I am wasting my time here on Pink Truth. Far from it. I believe our voices here are important warnings and truths about MLMs and how the house always wins.

However, when it comes to creating something beautiful and creative, I currently run a smoking cessation program for people experiencing homelessness at a free clinic where I volunteer my time as a clinical nurse specialist. Yes, I am conducting some research as part of this project (and, yes, there is informed consent and all the necessary IRB paperwork). I am positively impacting the lives of many people, including my former two-pack-per-day smoker, who is now down to less than half a pack. (I’m calling that a major win!) I also see patients regularly at the clinic and help them manage their diabetes, provide wound care (I’m learning how to do sutures), and more.

I think I do more to help your Jesus build this kingdom of his than any other MLMer out there.
