Casie Hembree is another member of the recently assembled Mary Kay Global Social Squad. Yes, Casie got the exact same note from Mary Kay about her participation as the other members of the squad. No need to write anything personal to any of them, MK. They’re excited to work for you for free!
You may remember Casie for infamously leaving her Mary Kay director’s jacket in a hotel bathroom during Leadership 2025. She forgot about it for a month, and went full Karen mode when the hotel no longer had it in lost and found. The jacket contained over 20 years of valuable bumblebee pins worth tens of dollars.
A month after Casie realized her mistake, she posted a $2500 reward.

YouTubers SamDee and Julie Anderson even covered the story on their channels. And then Casie shared the details of her carelessness in a Trip Advisor review that blamed the hotel’s lost and found policies.
Sadly, Casie received several texts from jokesters who did not take this seriously.
Casie never recovered her jacket, but through the combined efforts of the San Antonio Police Department and a private investigator, she recovered all but one of the bees from a local pawn shop.
Casie’s missing jacket drama brought a lot of buzz to Mary Kay, through postings on Pink Truth, Reddit, and YouTube. the consensus from most was “Is Mary Kay still around?”
With all of that great history, Mary Kay Inc. thought Casie to be the perfect person to make some noise for them on social media. Hopefully Casie can bring the buzz back to Mary Kay through her new role on the squad!

Earlier this year, my sister and I stayed at the Marriott Bonvoy attached to the Lancaster PA Convention Center. The rooms and meeting spaces were nice, everything was spotless, and the staff were great. And we remembered to take all our belongings when we left 😜

I thought that they had to wear them to travel in so that the Businessmen could easily identify them as Sooper Special Mary Kay Ladies and not {shudders} mere businesswomen or worse the help.
“Is Mary Kay still around?” This is hilarious. I actutlalyu had someone IRL – I wish I could recall who – being surprised that MKI is still around. I’m not sorry that the company is struggling.
