Not a Repeat Offender!

A few days ago, we did a post on the never ending hamster wheel in Jamie Taylor’s area. These women run and run and run on that little wheel, never realizing that they’re not actually getting anywhere. (Remember how sales directors like to uplipft the very serious businesswomen in their units by telling them things like “be too dumb to doubt”? Uggh.)

A woman named Teresa Gibson is kind enough to be an avid reader of Pink Truth, and saw fit to comment:

You named me in this article, however you might wanna fact check. I am not a repeat offender !!!

If it’s facts that Teresa wants, then it’s facts that she will get!

Fact: Teresa was once a sales director in Mary Kay.

Fact: Teresa is currently not a director, and is just a consultant.

Fact: Teresa is currently a “star team builder.”

There is no word on whether Teresa is going to attempt to become a director again.

So yes, Teresa is correct that she is not a repeat offender in DIQ.

But she apparently hasn’t learned the lesson, because she’s still in Mary Kay and possibly actively recruiting.

Thank you Teresa for adding to our success by reading and commenting. Every time you visit, you help the cause. Also… there is lots of information here to help you extract yourself from this elaborate scam called Mary Kay. Please have a look around. 🙂

  1. Teresa, you promoted yourself to the top 2% of Mary Kay. I’m sure that took a lot of ordering! I mean work. Why did you step back?

  2. Teresa, please know that we welcome you here. We were you. We were the IBCs, the Star Builders, the DIQs, the SDs, even NSDiQ. We worked our businesses hard. If you read and read some more, you’ll recognize yourself in our stories because you are living it now.

I’ve got some reflection questions for you because you of all people know the smoke and mirrors that it took to get to SD in the first place. How much of your own money did you use to top off wholesale orders to reach company requirements or goals? How many real people did you recruit while you were in DIQ – not family and friends just helping you out and never ordering again? How many people did you buy a kit for or pay for their order? How many times do you say that you make 50% profit off of your sales when you know that’s not true? Why did you lose your unit?
