Anastasia’s June
Written by Parsons Green
Anastasia Syzmkowski was trying to wrap up June in a big way! She wanted to earn that diamond ring and qualify for her fourth car! And what’s this about a comeback story? As in…. you have been failing in Mary Kay (just like 99% of the participants), but NOW you’re going to be a big success?
In March, Anastasia posted that her car broke down and she needed a new one. So even though she had driven three previous cars from Mary Kay, she currently wasn’t driving one. She thought she’d qualify for her next car that month but she did not.
In May, she posted this nonsense about why this car will be different. This time it’s all about the team. LOL
She needed 12 new recruits at the end of May to make this happen. Yikes.
Anastasia wanted to earn a ring too. The ring in the picture is not the Queen’s Court of Sales bribe for ordering $20,000 wholesale. It’s likely a prize from her senior director Megan Coleman who desperately needs all the production she can get from her downline so she can go on the top director trip to Budapest. The twenty repair sets represent $2150 wholesale still needed with just a few days to go.
Anastasia also drove an hour one way to attend a vendor event at the end of the month. Mary Kay’s contract prevents consultomers from actually selling at events. They can only get names for leads.
After the event, Anastasia shared that the event was a bust. The canopy flew off. The legs broke. She couldn’t even throw it in the dumpster. But she is taking this as a lessons. She will no longer do outdoor events because they don’t give her any joy. Luckily she did get four names at the event. Do you think any of the numbers are real? Will any one of them respond to her? She’ll most likely have to drive an hour away if they ever want to do a party.
Mary Kay is a miserable opportunity. What else about Mary Kay doesn’t bring you joy Anastasia?
While it can be admirable to seek the good in tough situations, at some point one must realize they’ve transitioned to putting lipstick on a pig.
Nothing from Anastasia’s posts is inspiring. My take-away, if she were in my circle? “Hon…time to try something different. MLM simply does not look good on you.”
That yellow gingham sundress is cute. It’s the only good thing in this post.
Even if her downline earned the car for her, it wouldn’t be hers. She’d only be allowed to drive it for 2 years, and even then she’d have to spend way more than the cost of a car payment on either production (aka crap you don’t need and won’t sell) or copays.
Even if she earns the bribe ring from a director who just wants to further her own agenda, the diamonds are crap and don’t even sparkle. Any pleasure she gets from it will be short lived and meaningless.
Even if the whopping four leads she got by baking her brains out turn out to be real and sign up with star frontloads, I’m a bottlenose dolphin. And all that will accomplish is to dilute the pool of future recruits and customers even more.
Listen, Anastasia. Something very important that I learned in therapy is that trying to bury, get rid of, or reverse unpleasant thoughts by forcing yourself to think positive just makes them rebound harder. It’s like trying to throw away a ball that’s attached to your hand by an elastic rope. You need to address what you’re actually feeling and understand why.
The question in the post, “what else doesn’t bring you joy?” Is a very important one. How does all this MK rigmarole REALLY make you feel? Be honest with yourself and trust your feelings.
Anastasia wants posted that when she met meghann for a facial it took her a few years before she actually signed up to be a consultant. When she did, meghann didn’t even remember who she was
Once not wants lol
Another young, attractive woman caught in the Pink Snare.
Anastasia claims Mary Kay has given her a “dream life.” Based on her own posts, it sounds more like a nightmare. Any prospective recruits would certainly change their minds after reading her updates.
She asked for prayers for discernment…
Discernment: “The ability to judge well, make wise decisions, and avoid deception.”
Let us pray.
