An old thread from a Facebook group dedicated to MK consultants, but it’s still a fun one! I love the response that sites like Pink Truth are authored by people who didn’t want to work and are wondering why they aren’t millionaires. I’ve got a business that is far more successful (for the last 25+ years!) than most NSDs. So I think I’m doing okay. Also, I’m wrinkle free, thank you very much. 🙂

How you doing 10 years later, Brenda? Driving a pink Caddy for free? Retired your husband, paid off the mortgage, and put the kids through Harvard yet?
I tried googling “Brenda Jean Mary Kay” and got nothing, but I don’t know if Jean is her last name or middle name.
Meanwhile, I’m still getting a biweekly paycheck, health benefits, and plenty of PTO, and have a house, car, and pension.
So wrinkles back atcha, sweetie.
Oh, and the fact that their much-ballyhooed Dynamic Wrinkle Limiter was a complete failure makes that “insult” even funnier to me now.
I laugh every time I see a post about that wrinkle limiter thing. What a colossal flop!

I went to the FB group and Brenda is still a member, but hasn’t posted in it for about five years. One of her posts was about wanting to quit her full time job and just do Mary Kay but she wasn’t able to just yet.
Try entering “Brenda Jean+Mary Kay” Several come up . Which one is her?
I looked in the group again and she had done a post where she was going to start attaching a sample to the back of each business card she gave out when she’d warm chatter – and it had her full name. She is no longer in Mary Kay!
