Taylor Bero is a director in the Jamie Taylor Verge Area. Taylor partners with a subscription service called Virtual Bestie. For only $10 a month, Virtual Bestie provides Mary Kay consultants with templates, scripts and playbooks for taking your Mary Kay business to the next level. The $20 monthly subscription gives access to an app where you and your team can collaborate as well.

Virtual Bestie shared on Facebook that Mary Kay had reached our to them about their use of Mary Kay images in their graphics. The only company authorized to use these images are Mary Kay’s company mkconnections. Virtual Bestie will pivot and move on. They’ll provide content that won’t violate company guidelines.

Taylor then posted in the director’s group. She got reported to corporate! She designed a graphic and in the spirit of Go Give, shared it with Virtual Bestie. She sees collaborations like this all the time.

In addition to Virtual Bestie, she mentions Pajama Graphics and Erin Marlowe (The first is for consultants and the second is for directors, both ran by Erin Marlowe). She also mentions Pink Party Hub (Website is currently inactive).

Everyone uses these services, but according to Taylor, if the company catches you using them you can lose your good standing with the company.

Jessica Cummings insists that Erin Marlowe follows all of the guidelines. Glenda Bohannon is shocked. She’s been a director for over 29 years. Directors have been using these services for years. Why is it a problem now? Some of her consultants have full time jobs and do not have time to contact the company if they need help!

Lee Ann Bonnell thinks lots of changes are coming, especially with the virtual assistants.

Cheryl Shaver has never seen so many changes in her 36 years in Mary Kay.

Robin McKenzie thinks the bigger issue is that consultants are selling at flee markets. She has been in Mary Kay 40 years and it’s her only income. She loves the company. Lena Logsdon agrees. Like many consultants, she is in the Mary Kay National Area. They need the guidance of an NSD.

Jea Gackowski wants to assure everyone that Erin Marlowe is following all the rules. Taylor wants everyone to know that she is not – because she asked!

Virtual Bestie shared examples of what their content will look going forward. I’m dazzled and convinced. Sign me up now!

UnforgettableYou8705 seems to suspect that Taylor has involvement in the Virtual Bestie designs.

Johanna Giese reminds Taylor that she owns a graphic design company. Taylor said she does, but she stopped working with Virtual Bestie when the company asked her to.

In a different Facebook group Taylor shared an image that Erin Marlowe created that violated the rules.

Katie Duez is scared. Big Brother is watching!! She joined Mary Kay because she doesn’t want people looking over her shoulder. She’s just trying to work her business efficiently.

Joni Cool wants Taylor to know that several companies have been approved by Mary Kay to use the graphics.

Here’s where we discussed Taylor’s company the first time. Essentially, Taylor had a website called Gracefully Shae that she replaced with one called Virtual Bestie. Now she’s telling people she just “partnered with” Virtual Bestie. Hmmmm…..

Will Virtual Bestie and the other websites still be around this time next year?

  1. “meanwhile, could we get some big brother on the AI images that make the product look ridiculous?”

Not so sure AI is ultimately what makes these products look ridiculous. How about those ridiculous prices?

  2. Every week it is a new issue for these women (created by corporate) and every week I say the same thing- SO MANY SHEEP!

  3. Glenda Bohannon is shocked. She’s been a director for over 29 years. Directors have been using these services for years. Why is it a problem now? Some of her consultants have full time jobs and do not have time to contact the company if they need help!

But…but…but I thought Mary Kay gave you executive wages for part-time work, so why are Glenda’s consultomers having to work full-time jobs? Isn’t their Bee-LIE-ve level high enough?

  4. “UnforgettableYou8705 seems to suspect that Taylor has involvement in the Virtual Bestie designs.” And she’s so desperate to take the discussion to email that she’s pretty well confirmed it, along with her throwing Erin Marlowe under the pink Cadillac.
