This Career Destructing Channel

Another comment on our video featuring Jamie Taylor admitting how she got people to order products they didn’t need… all so she could become an NSD. A comment by a woman who has been a lowly beauty consultant for 9 years.

And she calls this a “career destructing channel.” Yes, career destructing, if you mean that we are here to help people NOT sign up with Mary Kay (and therefore women do not complete DIQ and become directors).

She seems to admit that what Jamie did is in fact shady when she compares it to the shady things she says corporate executives do.

What’s sad is some shady individual recorded this video, posted it to this career destructing channel and thinks Jaime is the bad one. 🤔 In order to be on the call you must have been a part of her future national area at the time. This is back stabbing at its finest. Whether you agree with the ways or not, tearing down others doesn’t make you better.

If you work in coorporate America think of this: the CEO, President, Manager, etc who is in charge of the company you work for is doing some way more “shady” actions to make money off of you than you think. And you’re only a number and very easily replaceable.

I can promise you, your boss would never support you and cheer you on in your career with unlimited earning potential more than an MK director or NSD. So be kind and unless you 100% know the facts (and even if you do) keep unkind and destructive comments to yourselves.

  1. My CEO doesn’t preach the Golden Rule or quote scripture in speeches and then does something shady. However, he does give me full benefits of health, vision, dental, and retirement on top of guaranteed pay when I work.

Enjoy that boring Career Conference! My last one was the defining moment when I decided I was done. Walked across the stage for being in a Cadillac, and I looked out at the brainwashed, exhausted people applauding us. BestDecision ever!

Unless the one you are tearing down is harming thousands of people.

  3. When you google Jamie Taylor, this video is the first result that pops up. Pink Truth ranks fourth in website results.

Does she not realize Mary Kay is a corporation?

Which is why FB is full of people complaining about their favourite coffee shop or fast food joint being short staffed and “shady business owners” wanting to know why people are not prepared to work for less than minimum wages. This economy is good for employees not employers.

  6. False equivalences and what-aboutisms. A perfect way to get an F in debate class.

I won’t even get into “coorporate America”

  7. So even if we do 100% know the facts we shouldn’t say anything. 🤔 Gotcha, gotcha, cool cool cool cool cool.

People can screen record Zoom calls and repost them later. Nothing on the internet is safe. Muah ha ha haaaaaaa.

    • I would hope that my family and friends would SAY something if they knew I was physical, emotional or financial danger. Not refuse to say anything unkind or destructive because of misplaced loyalty or other such reasons.

  8. Tell me you’ve never worked in an actual commission based sales job, without telling me you’ve never worked in an actual commission based sales job.

I work for a small insurance company, my boss spent the last year setting up a promotions plan so that I & my coworkers can make more in commissioms. The difference between my boss and your Direct/NSD is the fact that I get paid for all the hours I am at the office, I get vacation, (I even took off 25 days in Oct and was paid!) , Retirement fund, and other benefits, honestly the offered commission on any new business that I write is actually just a bonus.

Nice try. I work in corporate America. Our cash flow does not come from our employees…it comes from our customers. And that customer cash flow is used to cover corporate expenses, including payroll, which is paid *to* our employees. Cash flow is not top-down, rather it’s outside-in.

Unlike traditional companies (such as mine), Mary Kay’s cash flow comes primarily from the pockets of its own sales force. No outside sales are necessary for corporate profitability in Mary Kay. Cash flows in a mostly closed system: bottom-up and inside-in.

    • Hear hear!! A good wine and cheese to start the weekend is exactly what I needed to start the weekend!

Oh dear, apparently you underestimate the reach of the Pink Truthers! I’d love to know how you think we’ve gotten the info for hundreds of our posts here. Plus you do realize that MANY of the regulars here were MK directors who put in years (and thousands of dollars) to have the knowledge that they do, right?

If you doubt this, just follow parsonsgreen’s posts. She/he has so much “inside info”, it’s almost like the repentant ghost of MK Ash herself is posting here.

  11. Funny, I went back to the Google search and easily found the nauseating video we are discussing here. I think I found the comment referenced in this post. If I may copypasta here:

I tried to paste her YouTube username here, not sure if I was successful, but if you go to the PT video, it’s right there.

I’d love to know if any of our infiltrated spies can dig up more on her? Is she an IBC? What can we dig up on her and link to her name here, just for future funsies?

    • That sounds suspiciously close to doxxing. And that’s not something I would like to happen to any-one.

      • Eh, she used her YouTube account to make public comments. I’m not a fan of doxxing either, but I don’t think my linking to a publicly available name on YouTube to fit the definition. I guess I should have specified, I don’t mean to dig up anything personal about her, just her Mary Kay comments/stats that might be available. Like if she’s an IBC who claims having sold X amount but her claims aren’t backed up, that is fair game under the “false income claims” heading.

We don’t need to know her SSN, her favorite restaurant, or her grandmother’s maiden name. I apologize if my wording indicated otherwise…I didn’t intend that. 🙂 I’ve actually worried a few times that I’ve given of my enough info that if the angry Cadillac SD running around in my area were to “find” me, she’d unleash the venom of her unit upon me to the point of coming to my home, etc. (But that would not be a sales-producing activity lol).

Thanks DA, I appreciate your input and understand where you’re coming from.

Likely are, but would anyone shame employees for calling them out publically? I doubt that. So is that’s not even a point here.
