Same Old Pink Truth Critics

Can the critics come up with something even slightly original?

This site is Hilarious!!!!!!! I never knew someone could become so crazy obsessed with bashing anyone or any company! hahahaha

Grow up! Stop whining because YOU decide to blame your lack of success on someone else! If you put 1/2 the effort that you have with this site into a REAL hobby or career, I bet you’d end up HAPPY.

OMG this is sooooooo priceless!!!! I wonder what the rest of your life is like! So sad!

  1. Companies that prey on people deserve to be bashed, and I’m happy to do it. One might even say it’s my hobby.

    I’m happy, happy happy!

      • Oh sweetie, you’re the one with the sad life, buying subpar cosmetics that’ll never sell for “retail” and calling yourself a “business owner”. You’ll be back.

      • Dear Haters-die-slowly: we all die slowly, it’s called aging. But if I were a “hater,” as you put it, I wouldn’t bother trying to help victims like you. Yes, whether you know it or not, you are a victim, and I want to help you. That’s why I’m here now, and why I and the others on this site will be here for you when the scales fall from your eyes.

Until then, stay safe, and keep a spreadsheet.

        • The MK version of a spreadsheet is a third-grade-looking cutesy poster board thing where you use stickers (glitter if you’re super mature) to keep track of things like “warm chatters” and “facials”.

  2. If these CEOS were consistent and successful with their IPA’s, how do they find the time to read here. No one put a gun to their head.

  3. Oh my, feeling a little defensive and butthurt, Pink hun? Afraid you might actually be reading the truth here?

  4. Personally, I manage to work a full time job, pursue my hobbies, some of which make me extra money, and find time to poke around on the internet. That makes me happy.

    • Exactly… I also get to take a vacation and not have to worry about what’s happening at my job,

Believe it or not when I leave the office I don’t ever have to deal with my 9-5 job. I can count on one had in the 6 years I have worked there that the owner has contacted me at home about work & that was when the state went into quarantine.

This week I am taking a day off to spend time in a local resort town with my husband, I will not have to check my phone for messages or missed calls from my job while wine tasting, walking along the shores of Lake Michigan, or having ice cream… Because I am not on the clock – oh yeah even tho I have the day off I am still getting paid my hourly rate while being away from the office because I have in my contract that I get so many vacation vacation days a year & I am allowed to roll them over into the next year if I don’t use them all.

How did you earn TWO Ridiculous Downvotes?

Apparently some MK “small business owners” are jealous.

  5. I wish they could just be honest about the Mary Kay information that they dole out to new recruits. If they were honest and forthright The Pink Truth would be unnecessary.

  6. Someone’s 18 year old college freshman daughter, who just got recruited, “happened” to find this site. I wonder who they were Googling?

  7. ” I wonder what the rest of your life is like! ”

Actually, my life is pretty darn good. Thanks for asking. I have a great job that offers paid time off, a 401(k) with matching, paid sick leave, tuition and certification reimbursement, and more. I have a lot of job satisfaction on top of that. I’m in the middle of a major bathroom remodel, and while I am sharing too small bathroom space with the hubs right now (I will never, ever not have a home that does not have two sinks in the bathroom!), we’re still getting along. I had a great lunch today with my friend and mentor, and I’m going to see Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless in concert this evening.

    So yeah, life IS good.

  8. If the critics of this website who are supposedly all successful Mary Kay consultants want their criticisms to hold ANY weight, they would tell us how much extra money they make from it and how little time it takes them every week to make it. But that never seems to happen. It never even happens when a critic posts in the comments and I ask how much money they make from Mary Kay, pointing out that, unless they choose to identify themselves, they are anonymous on here and nobody knows who the area, so what’s the harm in sharing their financial information. Never get a response.

  9. …says the person who has to go to some guest event tomorrow morning or has bills to pay off from Seminar. I, however, will enjoy my whole weekend of freedom from that hamster wheel.

    • I’m heading to the local farmers’ market and later I might do some gardening. Or I might sit with a book and glass of wine. Tomorrow, I’m planning a Hulk marathon ahead of She Hulk starting on Wednesday.

Or I could do something totally different. Who knows? I certainly won’t be scrolling my social media in the bathroom looking for some-one who hasn’t heard of the wonders of Mary Kay.

  10. This site has been around for 20+ years. Get back to us when your MK career has lasted that long. You must had made a profit and sold everything on your shelves to qualify.
