It’s a “Director Only” Group

If you need a place to discuss all the secret Mary Kay things that only sales directors are supposed to know, you can visit the Director Tips Group on Facebook run by Shani Jordan of Shani’s office. Shanni uses this group to market the administrative services she offers to Mary Kay sales directors. She doesn’t want anyone but directors in the group, so if you see anyone who is no longer a director (well that’s a mighty long list!), then you should report them so they can be removed.

Imagine the surprise of one Margaret Leonelli when she found that a comment of hers had been posted and critiqued on Pink Truth! Good thing that her comment was not super icky!

Diane Kuciel searched Pink Truth a while back and it helped her to be a better director! She saw some of the pitfalls consultants face and “what the struggle looks like when they lack perspective.” (Diane, Diane, Diane. When 99% of participants lose money in the scheme, it’s not “lacking perspective.”)

Rebecca Allen has never been the same since reading Pink Truth. Must have been all that TRUTH smacking her in the face. And yet, she still participates in the scam. And no, Rebecca, I’m not a terminated director and I didn’t create Pink Truth to hurt Mary Kay. Just to expose the truth that you and your friends try so hard to hide.

  1. You don’t need to be coy and pretend you were ego surfing and came up in the search results. The screenshots from Facebook show up as images, so the text in them isn’t searchable. Unless your comment was deliberately mentioned by the author in the body of the article you’d never know otherwise.

Anyway, what’s so bad about someone reading your borderline icky comment? Is it because people might get the idea that life inside isn’t perfect?

    • I tested it on Google search, she’s about the 6th or 7th search result on PinkTruth and it’s only this article that pops up. She appears in this article and two other on this site but you have to use the search box rather than clicking the Margaret Leonelli button.

  2. “As I was told, a director who was terminated create (SIC) this group to hurt Mary Kay.”

Yes, that’s correct, Tracy createD us out of thin air. Also, thanks for affirming that you are in fact chugging the Kool Aid by repeating what you’ve been told.

    • I just wish she’d created me to be a rich millionaire who lives full-time on Martha’s Vineyard when not wintering on the Riviera. Also I have a chauffer for my Land Rover and a cook who’s grouchy and fussy and my #1 ally as I go sleuthing to solve the minor but gossip-worthy crimes that inexplicably happen wherever I go.

But I’m not, so I must actually be a real person :sigh:

  3. She thinks this site is only former directors or “terminated” directors. Lol
No, this site is everyone who escaped the pink cult that is disguised as a cosmetic company. We simply tell our stories to help others see the truth about what Mary Kay is really about.

  4. I’m so confused what a “deep shift” means in the context of Margaret Leonelli’s comment. A deep shift of the directors group admission requirements? A deep shift of your own mental/ emotional state? A deep shift of your failing business practices? I think she means the mental state, but that comment amused me.

  5. Undoing the pink poison was just the start of the unraveling of all the BS that contaminates our present reality. What I struggle with the most right now is blame shifting and gas lighting. At my school, it is rampant! Here’s a book study – we got everyone a book! Ok, where’s my book? Oh – well, almost everyone. Where can I get a book? Ask the other elementary schools. I ask them… they send me back to my principal. He has no more! Who is responsible for not ordering enough books and then telling us it is MANDATORY to read the book?? Can someone NOT COUNT??
It is a frustrating reality to live in if you are even a semi competent human being. Ugh.

  6. Well, to all of you who “stumble” across this page after “searching their names” I would like to point out that I wasn’t terminated. I left on a high note after completing a 20/20. I had my resignation letter to my senior director and my unit handy and ready to click send as soon as I got home from teaching at the quarterly event.

Oh, and I didn’t “step down”, I “leveled up”. Maybe you should take this as a sign to “pivot” into a new reality of being truthful with yourself. When does “fake it till you make it” become lying to gain confidence from your team/unit or to gain new recruits (so you can get them to place a qualified order)
Remember what they said at directors training. 1/3 are on their way out. Keep the water flowing since the drain is open. But when will you actually be able to stop this cycle of stress and insanity? ( look up the definition of insanity). Why can’t you just enjoy life like real business owners? How many formula changes, packaging changes, and phase outs will it take until you realize YOU are the customer to corp?

And why didn’t Mary Kay mention ALL of her husbands in her biography?
