Show Both Sides
I just recently came across this site because I was trying to learn more about Mary Kay and see what people were saying about it. After reading for a while, I have to say something feels off. Almost every story here is negative, and it makes the whole site come across more like a complaint board than anything else.
If you really want people to take Pink Truth seriously, you should probably show both sides of the story. Right now it just sounds like a group of people venting about their bad experiences. I’m sure that’s therapeutic for some of you, but it doesn’t exactly build credibility.
Organizations like the Better Business Bureau at least try to look at both perspectives before making conclusions. That’s why people trust them. Here, it just feels like everything automatically gets blamed on Mary Kay no matter what the situation was.
For example, what about the cases where someone makes poor financial decisions on their own and then turns around and blames the company? That happens too. Not every bad outcome is proof that the business itself is flawed.
Honestly, reading all these posts hasn’t scared me away from Mary Kay at all. If anything it makes me question the reliability of the stories being told here. It would probably help your case a lot if you verified things and showed a little more balance instead of assuming the company is always the villain.

Tracy owns the site, so she gets to choose the content. There’s no “case” to “prove” because this is a forum for sharing opinions and experiences, not a court of law (or binding arbitration, if you signed the new consultant agreement and forgot to opt out).
PTC, if MK recruiters were held to this standard, there would be no need for Pink Truth. Should MK recruiters be required to tell both sides of the story? Should they be required to tell recruits that nearly all of them will fail financially no matter how hard they work? Should they be required to be honest about how difficult it is to sell overpriced retail products out of your home? Or just how many people must lose money in your own downline so you can turn a profit?
Pink Truth exists precisely because MK recruiters are not held to your standard of telling both sides of the story. Maybe focus your energy on cleaning up the MK side before asking Pink Truth to change. If you succeed, PT will no longer be necessary.
