  1. Oh my. We knew there was a punctuation shortage coming with all the exclamation points used by the other huns. It finally caught up with them and there was no punctuation available for this letter writer. Or any other kind of editing, it seems.

    • And the sad part is that people like that are the ones who make fun of ESL speakers for not having perfect grammar and spelling 🤦

  2. Is spell check not a thing anymore? Goodness I can’t even make a file note at work these days without res or blue lines popping up, how the heck can anyone send something like this and say yep, it’s totally understandable……. Even if English is their second language.

You’re not supposed to be putting the make up on anyone’s face you are not licensed to.

  3. After reading this, I’ll be “wineing”. It’s going to take at least three glasses of Zin to get this out of my head.

“were ur books full” Were urs? Let us watch as you give a masterclass on how to book and sell, OK?

  4. I’m guessing where the sentences end.

its funny to me how everyone is on her wineing(sic) about marykay(sic) and what it didnt (sic)do for u but can i (sic)ask what did u do in mary kay(sic)

It’s far to early in the day for me to think about wine.

did u follow the scripts set

Every woman and her dog have heard the same boring and repetitive scripts. Countless times. That’s why they no longer work.

    did u do ur best

If you had spent more than five minutes reading this blog, you would have seen that many, many women here were successful in Mary Kay terms of success.

were ur books full did u even try or did u sit on the box and cry it doesnt (sic)work

Again, five minutes would have shown you very successful “I Stories”.

i have been a consulant (sic) for 2 years by choice and i love it

You are still in the honeymoon stage. That doesn’t last.

i love going out and putting the make up on the faces and watching a womans (sic)world change even if its for that one night

I hope that you are not personally putting the make-up on since both you and I know that is against Mary Kay Wagner Rogers Eckman Weaver Louis Miller Hallenbeck Ash’s rules since you are probably not licensed to do so.

    i dont(sic) push sales i dont(sic) push recriuts (sic)

Then you are not going to be very good at your “job”. But hopefully your director will do that for you and mop up all those spare dollars in those women’s bank accounts.

    it does happen

    So you do recruit.

but to sit on her and down mk (sic) because u have an(sic) bad exsperince(sic) and then put us all in one is not only childess(sic) rude and disrespectful but so wrong

childess?? I have no idea what our writer is trying to say. Clueless maybe?

This site isn’t here because of one bad experience but the same bad experience repeated many times to different women by different directors.

yes we do have a few that go out for themselves but we are not all the same..

The screen shots posted here show that it is far more than a few bad apples.

u had a bad exspercinse (sic)with a consulant (sic) so dont (sic) see her

It’s hard to avoid a consultant when she’s a family member, a co-worker or you have a professional relationship with her.

u dont (sic) like the product send it back theres (sic) 100 % buy back on any product that YOU CHOOSE to buy

The bar is oh so low.

inventory call the company they work it

But we’ve screen shot that show Ellen inter alia refuse to help a consultant return her inventory because Ellen knows that she will lose money.

our with u simply enough the only promblem (sic) with all the situaions (sic)i seen on here is Y_O_U stop putting(sic) urself in ur own way,/i>

No, because the company works to maximise their profits regardless of what happens in their “salesforce”. The scripts you have eagerly absorbed have placed those pretty rose pink glasses on your face so you can’t see all the red flags waving at you.

That was a hard read. I know it has to be “cinq a sept” somewhere in Europe so I can be wineing.

  5. Oh lord… I couldn’t read that. Capitalization, punctuation, text speak… that hurt.

Also, it’s never too early in the day to think about wine. As the late Jimmy Buffet said, it’s five o-clock somewhere.

  6. What is this writer hoping to accomplish with this? Do they think this is what will finally take down Pink Truth? If her experience is so positive, why should she worry about anything that is posted here?

  7. If recruiters are so desperate that they are recruiting grade school drop outs, then this company is in far steeper decline than I thought. There can’t be any way someone actually purchases anything from this ignorant dumb ass.

  8. This is honestly sad. This is the kind of woman who is targeted by Mary Kay, someone who probably doesn’t have a lot of opportunities outside of low paying fields due to her lack of writing skills. We need to talk about how MLMs target and exploit people (especially women) who have low socioeconomic status and less education.
It’s tempting to make fun, but this letter and ones like it show why product based pyramid schemes need to be ended by the FTC.

    • Shay,
A+ for a hilarious comment, but your writing never strikes me as bad. I think you said before that English is not your first language, but I can’t tell. Your writing is fine. 😊

  9. I never thought I’d say this since I went full-menopause at 47, but MAN do I miss PERIODS.

In fact I found a few lying around, thought I’d share for those who desperately need them:
