Another National Area That Will Never Be

In 2022, sales director Jeni Tjelle boldly proclaimed that not only would she be a national sales director, her area would be done with her three daughters as Cadillac sales directors!
Three years later, Jeni is still not an nsd! Her daughters still haven’t promoted themselves to director either.
A few months ago Jeni posted about visiting Mary Kay’s office in person. How do you feel she’ll react when Mary Kay decides to ditch the sales force?

And all of them have dress codes.
Yes! Dress codes are mandatory in many places. Military, Healthcare, Courts, Law Enforcement etc. It is not mandatory to dress a certain way in MK. It’s expected. Just like I know what to expect when I walk into my local Walmart. I get exactly what I expect in the people going to Walmart. And you have a problem with that?

These people are so cringeworthy. All of these “look at us” and “sisterhood posts”. I’d love to see the amount of money they spend on these goofy weekends – and how much credit card debt they all try to ignore.
The Coal Cities turned up by Google are small communities in Illinois and West Virginia, with populations of about 5700 and 1700 respectively. So you’ve got at least 3 women from the same family competing for the same REALLY DAMN SMALL pool of potential customers in hopes of securing a driveway full of pink Cadillacs, and that doesn’t include other IBCs in the same area.
And they’ve all got those bleeping fake drawn-on magic marker clown eyebrows. Stop it!!!!!
I nearly gagged when I saw where she lived. I was born/raised about 30 minutes from Coal City and have cousins we visited frequently in Morris. Coal City–how the heck is she getting people in that area to buy or sell? It’s not that big. I suspect oversaturated too..with her AND 3 daughters.

Oh but the spin… I just do that because i LOVE it and MK gives me the flexibility to do fun things like this!
Got to wonder if her dance school is partnered with Mary Kay cosmetics and use those products as the preferred brand of choice?

Yes, because they are the easiest to recruit.
This! And I’m willing to bet that they’re likely doing the bare minimum or she’s putting orders under them to keep them active on her team. I think there are many daughters who would prefer other paths but become IBCs for the sake of making their mothers look good. Building a case for how good the opportunity is for women would be hard without having your own immediate family members involved. It’s a hard place to be in.

They all have those ugly eyebrows that look like mouse skin. Is this a thing? They need to stop making that a thing. I’d never take makeup advice from any of thrm..
