Chelsea’s Confession (Mary Kay’s “Trash” Perfumes)

Chelsea Adkins was selected to film a Mary Kay “It Just Fits” segment. These segments focus on sales directors and are the company’s way of trying to entice new recruits into the company. MK sends out a film crew that runs around with the subject for a day, filming her life and her peddling of cosmetics and the fake “career opportunity.” Naturally, we have to make life as a sales director look fun and profitable.
As with the others, Chelsea’s segment will be shown at company events and posted online for recruiting.
I wonder if Chelsea talked about Mary Kay perfumes in her segment?
“I’m going to be honest with you I don’t think Mary Kay normally does a great job with our perfumes. The the men’s colognes.. out of this world. The women’s perfumes… trash. I’m a very honest sales person. I don’t like any of our perfumes and so I’m really just like so overjoyed at how good this one is.”

Chels makes me sad. She’s beautiful, ambitious, outgoing, and young. She could be crushing it in a real career and yet she’s chosen to hitch her wagon to a tree stump while telling everyone it’s a star.
That said, the pic of Sad Panda Chels and the weewee straw cracks me up every time 😆

IBC = not part of the company. You don’t work for them, you buy stuff from them to re-sell. Likely at minimal to no profit.
They spent 3 days filming and taking up your time.
I have question for you, Chelsea. How much did they pay you for all of that time? Their purpose is to recruit people into this mlm so that they can make more money. Please don’t tell me you did it for free or that it was a privilege to do it. They are not a charity. It would be SO like MK to either use the reco as a means of getting out of paying or to pay with product!
MK uses their sales force for free advertising. They need to make MK look young and hip because they are BLEEDING consultants. Just look at the national areas with only a handful of directors. Look at the longtime directors who can’t even get close to nsd. THEY ARE USING YOU, CHELSEA.
I’ve not been out long enough for me to be sad for her. This just makes me mad. This crew gets to break whatever rules they want to break because corporate needs them to succeed. This (failing) area has everything they’re looking for as far as race, looks, “success” at a young age. They could commit any crime and corp would look over it because they need a new young black NSD to fit their agenda. I’m sick of this. Sick of it. Show me a video from corporate of a basic grand achiever consultant making side money to support her family. Life might not look glam like Princess Chels fake life, but maybe it’s real.
They always feature the self proclaimed popular ones. Gosh they loved Kelly Brock. I’m surprised they didn’t go into heart failure when she quit.
Extra salty today. Chelsea just really gets under my skin.
I probably shouldn’t link this when you’re already extra-salty, but I find that when you have a good strong mad going it’s a shame to waste it.
