More Missing Mary Kay Jackets!
Written by Parsons Green
Casie Hembree is an out of touch and entitled Mary Kay sales director. In January 2025, she attended Mary Kay Leadership conference in San Antonio, Texas. She left early and forgot her Mary Kay director suit in a hotel bathroom.
When she realized this over 30 days later, she was outraged and blamed everyone but herself. Reddit had a field day with Casie, and you can read all about it if you run to this Reddit post, which complies all the posts. Sam Dee discussed the jacket here and Julie Anderson’s post is here.
Casie never recovered her jacket, but was able to rescue all but one her Mary Kay pins (you know, the bumble bees) from a local pawn shop. This jacket drama was the most buzz that Casie and her Mary Kay business had received in YEARS.
Casie posted an Instagram live as she was packing to go to this year’s seminar. She posted a pic of her replacement director jacket along with the pins that the internet helped her recover. You would think directors would be more careful in the future with these precious jackets and jewels, but there were two incidents at seminar this year that prove that not to be the case.

Mia Mason Porter (the nsd who filed bankruptcy and had the case dismissed by the government because she lied in her filing!) shared that a national sales director from the Diamond division left her jacket in her room. By the time the ns asked the hotel to check the room, the jacket was already gone. Yet again, a precious, precious MK jacket that means so much was left behind without a care.

Casie then jumps in to remind everyone to NEVER EVER give anything Mary Kay related to the hotel staff. Only turn it in to Mary Kay personnel. Her jacket had over $28,000 (LOL Casie, it was worth a few hundred bucks, at best) in jewelry and it was sold to a pawn shop by someone in the hotel. Lynette Brazda Bickley suggests sending a lost jacket back to you through Fed Ex so you can worry about finding the owner once you get home.

Lori Hawthorne shares this once happened to her. Her jacket was found once she told the front desk she was going to file a police report.

And ANOTHER director’s jacket was left behind at the Emerald seminar! Cynthia Gallagher found it and turned it into the front desk, but then she was warned that everyone should give the jackets to Mary Kay and not the hotel.

I’ve got an idea! What if these so-called adults just keep track of the their very important jackets that are worth oh-so much, and then we wouldn’t have to worry about this?
Nah! We’re too busy playing dress up and pretending we’re more successful than we are. As of Sunday afternoon, no updates had been posted about either missing jacket.
These jackets are so hard to get. Some consultants like Lauren Wagner and Kelly Green try multiple times to earn the right to buy them. I implore all current Mary Kay directors to think of them before they leave a jacket behind.

What Careless Casie forgets to mention is that hotel list and found only keeps items for a limited time. Usually one week. 30 days is pretty damn generous. After that they have NO responsibility to you or your belongings and they can get rid of them as they please.
Casie was past the 30 day limit before she even noticed her “$28,000” jacket was even missing and did something about it.
Now she runs her mouth about how hotel staff are “thieves.” No, Casie, you’re just a moron. And a liar. Doesn’t your god have something to say about lying and making false accusations?
I’d trust hotel staff long before a Mary Kay person because Mary Kay people are the only ones that care about that cheap garbage and would actually try to steal it.
