Mary Kay directors are still reeling from the recent changes to the consultant agreement. All consultants were required to log into InTouch to accept the new agreement. However, some directors had consultants who had never once logged into InTouch. They would call their director who would place orders for them.

With the update, the directors could no longer place these orders until the consultant accepted the new terms.

These directors shared their experiences with this issue. Some directors were successful in helping, and some were not. Does the company even know how many consultants used their directors to place order? If Donna Josellis has a whiny consultant, she refers her to her cell phone provider for them to help out. Pamela Pearson is sad that the company did not give any thought to these consultants.

Julie Uibel Phalen is the daughter of retired NSD Sue Uibel. Even Mary Kay royalty is facing this issue. She inherited consultants from her mom who have been with Mary Kay for over 30 years. They’ve never placed orders through InTouch. Tera Gerhaty is blunt. The consultant will need to log in. She’s willing to be on a three way call with the company and the consultant, but it is not her job to help. I wonder if she is just as helpful at the end of the month when she needs production.
