No Longer a Director
Written by Frosty Rose
Well, folks, it’s celebration day here at Pink Truth. Not quite the celebration we’ll have when Mary Kay finally goes fully belly-up and rids the world of the pink cult, but a celebration nonetheless.
Tonya Warner was one of the directors who debuted to make Missy O’Neal’s national area happen in December 2025. She did the work, earned the car, and projected the image. And she is hereby done as of October 31!
I’ll allow Tonya to explain in her own words, which are far more eloquent than anything I can offer.

Well done, Tonya! No notes!
I will draw the dear reader’s attention to a few things, which are common themes here:
- She’s been under an incredible amount of pressure, which she has been pushing down onto her consultants
- She’s been burning relationships left right and center in an effort to keep up with sales, production, and recruiting
- She has a “storeroom” full of product. Because her unit by itself wasn’t doing enough to keep her in her car. The quiet part out loud: that storeroom of product is tied to a ballooning credit card balance
- Her priorities were Out. Of. Whack.
Here’s a relevant comment on the thread:

I’m glad Tonya saw the truth about directorship. And I grieve for her for the friendships she’s about to lose because of this step. Rest assured, that towed away car won’t be the last thing she says goodbye to because she’s joyfully stepping out of directorship. I pray her non-Mary Kay community comes around her and loves her through it.
Welcome, Tonya, to the ranks of those who saw the truth and walked away.

Ah, a heart-warming story to start the day! Lets see how long she stays in. My guess is only as long as it takes to whittle down that huge pile of inventory.
Congrats Tonya! It is my hope you have seen enough of MK now to know it is time to completely part ways with MLM…forever!
“I still have a storeroom full of product, which will be put to good use at vendor events and made available to the few wonderful ladies who were consultants on my team. If you’ve been a faithful customer or one of my faithful consultants, I still have product available for sale.“
This really stood out to me, why? Because she is offering to sell products to her consultants! This is a key component in a pyramid scheme, buying product from your upline and not the company. She also admits the main job of a Mary Kay Director is to recruit more consultants, not to sell products or teach skincare and make up application. She has taken the first step, but it would be even better if she packed up that inventory and got out all together.
