A Day in the Life of Chelsea

Written by Parsons Green

Chelsea Adkins lives a glamorous, busy, and profitable life as a soon to be Million Dollar Sales Director. (Just kidding, she’s not even close. Through the end of May, she was at $357,559. She won’t even get to half million.)

She shared a peek into her day on Instagram.

Chelsea woke up at 6am. Had time for the Bible and laundry. Got dressed with full hair and makeup. Prepped dinner for the evening. She then drove 1 hour 45 minutes to Lynchburg to have a director’s meeting with Jamie Taylor! Chelsea drives in Crocs, and forgot to bring a pair of heels.

She admitted her car is messy, and she might have a pair she forgot about! And luckily she did.

After the meeting, she was driving home and received a call from an unknown number. She doesn’t usually answer but today she did. The caller was a woman who was referred to her by the hair salon that’s next door to Chelsea’s Pink Cadillac Lounge. She was calling to see if Chelsea could do her makeup for an upcoming party on Saturday.

Chelsea is going to be out of town but could meet her at the studio and give her a lesson. When she found out Chelsea was driving home, she said she’d stay at the studio and wait. She tried multiple products and was ready to shop. She felt blessed. She loved Chelsea so much she wants to book a party with her friends. She spent $600 CASH! This wasn’t even on Chelsea’s schedule. Chelsea then shares these thoughts…

Orders like this don’t happen every day, especially as a new beauty consultant. You don’t get referrals right off the bat. A new consultant wouldn’t have the confidence to sell that much. She wouldn’t have had the knowledge to address her concerns. She’s grateful she had the connection. She’s grateful for the sale. Her next stop would be to the bank to deposit that cash!

A couple takeaways: Chelsea spent almost 3.5 hours in the car driving to yet another pointless director meeting. Why did it have to be in person? Why not Zoom? Did Chelsea really get a call from a random woman? Why did she have so much clean, crisp, cash? Why didn’t we see any pictures of her glowing about her new makeup look? Why no sales slip to show what price she paid, because he know it wasn’t full retail. Why is Chelsea telling new consultants how hard it is to make sales and how blessed she was to get this one?

  1. IF this unknown number person makeup tutorial actually happened, I hope Chelsea did better with her than she did with Kelly Green. The end result pic in the Discussion Board thread is garish and unflattering.

  2. My first impression is: Chelsea, don’t film and drive!
You could get an innocent person killed. Shameless bragging about a $600 sale can wait until you’re parked.
I hope I’m wrong and you weren’t driving.
