The Launch Party Flop
Written by Parsons Green
Tina Harden announced on August 1st that she had signed up with Mary Kay and her debut party would be on August 22nd.

After the party, she shared that she had 12 people show up.
Look how excited everyone is. Two of the twelve attendees were children, meaning Tina has shared the opportunity to the next generation.

Nicole Mallet also had her debut the same day and had 8 guests. She considers this a nice turnout.

This is good, because Nicole happens to be a big fan of our friend Kristin Sharpe. (I wonder how that whole “not in good standing with MK” thing is going?)

Tina also signed up her first team member Heather Sturgeon! She missed the pictures because she needed to go outside to complete the set up process!

Jeanen Hammer-Huber congratulated Tina on her debut, and reminded her never to quit.

Sadly, not every comment was positive. When Sarah Carter started her Mary Kay business, no one showed up to her launch party. But she carried forward and still attended seminar.

Christy Wheeler’s debut was a bust too. Her family and friends did not show up for her on this important day! She’s been in for a year and it is hard.

Tina didn’t share any pictures of filled in sales slips or calculators showing totals so we don’t know how much, if anything, she sold at this party. However, she’s already full steam ahead on making the most of this flopportunity.

She’s ordered business cards that she loves and can’t stop looking at. (I wonder when she first noticed one of the Mary Kay labels is backwards?) She’s also planning an inventory section of her home complete with a pink and silver theme.
Will Tina be doing a stage walk at next year’s seminar? Only time will tell.
