April 2026 Nsd Commissions

Here we go again with another round of Mary Kay national sales director commissions over $10,000 for the month of April 2026. We have the following numbers for nsds with commissions exceeding $10k for April in each division:

  • Diamond 20 (our little pal Jamie Taylor barely made it on the list with $10k!)
  • Emerald 12
  • Sapphire 17

That’s a total of 49 nsds out of a total of 105 (at last count anyway; who knows who dropped out since), or 46.7% making $10k or more. That’s down from 61 in March, but up from 41 in February.

Let’s be real: It’s pathetic. You work your butt off to get to the top of the pyramid, and you’re not even bringing home middle management money.

  1. The ones making bank are the ones making inroads into the Latin market. The US (the English-dominant part at least) is all fished out.

And the folks who make this kind of income in legit jobs have a way different lifestyle from these NSDs. Paid vacations, benefits, most nights and weekends off, and no pressure to be constantly recruiting!

I’ll take a middle management job over NSD any day!

  3. Were any of these commissions reports artificially propped up by the NSDs who opted for the cash bonus instead of the recent trip to London?

  4. I would like to see the REAL take home pay…after expenses and taxes. I bet I was taking home more as an E-7 when I retired 19 years ago. Lol! My lifetime retirement benifits are certainly way, way, way better. Yep, tgat J O B was a terrible decision. I should have done MK….not! Glad I jumped ship very quickly. With just my high school education that had 2 years DECA (Distributive Edicatoon Clubs of America) a year of accounting and a semester of business law it wasn’t hard to see it was a scam.

  5. Not counting the tippy top NSDs who have their claws into the Latin American market, these numbers are kind of pathetic. THIS is their “executive pay” that less than half of the known NSDs made???

These harpies love to recruit nurses and teachers — yes, overworked and underpaid. I get it. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, changed jobs, advanced my degree. (BTW, I graduated May 15 with my Doctor of Nursing Practice! It’s done, and that’s why I’ve been lax on the boards because school and research and writing and OMG it’s finally done!)

I work for the gubmint as a registered nurse. (The command and my leadership team are still trying to figure out what to do with me now that my DNP is done. They don’t want to lose me, so they’re looking at how they can keep me and pay me more. Win-win in my book.) I make really good money at what I do, and I love where I work. I love the people, my patients, the providers, and my leaders. I am well-compensated for what I do, and frankly, I make more per month than most of these NSDs. I have significant protections (like staffing ratios), leaders who listen and respond, paid time off, bonuses (in cash or PTO), a retirement plan, and more.

I no longer understand the WHY behind the NSD position. Sure, Jan… it’s the tippy top, the pinnacle, the Mary Kay *insert fifty names here* Ash legacy. But it’s NOT. It’s no longer the glamorous Sue Z. Vickers and Dalene White role. It’s…. pathetic.

  6. The NSD summit trip for Asia Pacific usually happens in May before the year end. It didn’t happen.

Last year, the NSD summit trip for Asia Pacific was downgraded from .London to Vietnam..

I think that says much about how much NSDs are earning….and how much the company is in trouble.

How about in other regions? Any downgrades? Change of NSD summit trip destinations? Cancellations?
