Eileen Collins is BACK!

Written by Parsons Green

Eileen Collins posted after a long absence in one of the Facebook groups. Eileen has been featured on the front page before, and is yet another consultant who has circled through DIQ and Mary Kay directorship and is now back to being a consultant. She seems to work hard, and yet she can’t keep up with the rat race of Mary Kay enough to be a director.

Since we last checked in with Eileen, she had been working a full time job with the state of Florida. Unfortunately, she had been there five months and was too chicken to share her business with any coworkers. Please make a list of anyone you’re too chicken to talk to! That will become your Chicken List. Work through your chicken list and things will change.

Eileen then shared she is a victim’s advocate for victims of violent crimes. She loves helping them and providing resources to them. She’s gained seven new customers. (Hopefully these are all coworkers and not any of her clients!) She spent her day having a party and an open house at her club house. She wanted to go to Nashville as a DIQ! Since she lost her directorship, she’s lost more than half of her team. But please join her team and help her with the work!

Eileen cautions new consultants that their friends and family may not support your Mary Kay Business. Her sister, mom, and best friends certainly don’t! KEEP GOING. Strangers are the lifeblood to success. Even Jesus’s siblings didn’t believe in HIM.

After a year at this new job, she asked a co worker if they knew she sold Mary Kay. Allegedly, they said no and asked for samples for her and her sister!!! If only Eileen had asked earlier.

Eileen shared on New Year’s Eve that she hoped to be a DIQ soon.

Then in January, she said she was trying to finish DIQ, so after shopping and lunch with her daughter, she sat in the car and worked while her daughter and a friend went to a movie. Was this wishful thinking, or was she truly in DIQ and close to finishing?

Sadly Eileen’s trusty sample basket broke but she quickly rebounded and got a replacement.

And finally, Eileen heard from a friend in another country (a poor one). Her friend is struggling to live day to to day. The friend allegedly told her that they don’t have income opportunities in their country like Mary Kay. If he could do Mary Kay there, he would. He wanted Eileen to know – if you aren’t doing Mary Kay for yourself please do it for those of us who can’t. Eileen implores everyone to work their Mary Kay business – even if it’s just for 15 minutes. She called to check on a customer and got a booking.

Eileen never posted an update on completing DIQ, but Mary Kay tells us she’s still a consultant.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like Eileen was able to attend seminar. But she and her basket will keep plodding along – offering this glamorous and lucrative opportunity by anyone who stops to listen.

  1. I read through this a couple times, and she mentions “bookings” and “new customers”, but no mention of actual sales or new recruits. Does she really consider the recipients of free samples to be “new customers”?

All those words, and no evidence of any business cash flow, other than what she is spending. Yikes!
